Servers can be linked together to add capacity with minimal requirements. The application also allows you to “throttle” bandwidth to accommodate network needs.

Designed to be securely installed behind the firewall, promoting use in locked-down environments and alleviating concerns about uploading proprietary information to an outside server. TACLAN Connect™ requires no third-party plug-ins and no changes to network or desktop configurations. TACLAN Connect™ is pre-configured to meet your needs and this allows a simplified setup in the operational area.

• Multicasting

Video, audio and application sharing traffic is fully supported. TACLAN Connect™ uses a distributed server architecture that allows placement of remote “leaf” servers at key points on a network to reduce traffic between bandwidth challenged remote sites and the central collaboration servers.

• Encryption

Full SSL and complete end-to-end AES encryption of all live session data is supported. TACLAN Connect™ uses an SSL connection to download a secure AES key of 256 bits and use it to encrypt all data at the client. The encrypted packets are then sent through the server and are not decrypted until they reach the receiving the client.
